Found a site that tells you to check the states you’ve visited and it creates a map of the U.S. with those states highlighted; kinda fun! I think there are one or two more that we’ve driven through but I don’t really remember much about them or that we did anything there, so I didn’t check those. And I didn’t count it if we just flew in and out of a place and were only at the airport; I tried to get the ones where we had actually gone there specifically or stopped there to visit something while on a trip to another place. Elizabeth should do this one, she might have a lot of states!

change depending on the outfit, but lately have mostly used a black purse

billfold, checkbook, pens, lip gloss, phone, tape measure

mostly carry the same things, sometimes will check it to carry something specific like camera or ipod
5. How often do you have a good clean out of your bag/sachel/wallet?
about once every week or two

I found this meme to do and it seems to be right up our alley, or Don’s but he doesn’t read my blog or do this kind of stuff, so I’ll have to do it! Several years ago he saved a list of the top 100 movies, an AFI list I think, and wanted us to watch most of them or all of them, which we have worked on a good bit. When he’s home, the tv stays on classic movie channels a lot. I’ll highlight the ones I’ve seen and you can play along as well.

::New Car Smell::

Onesome- New: What’s new in your life? New car, new house, new job or new person, or even just a new toy you bought for yourself?
I have a new ipod!

Twosome- Car: What kind of car do you drive? What kind of car would you like to drive if you could?
Drive a suburban…….I guess I would like a new suburban or tahoe or other suv; haven’t really thought about what I might like to drive!

Threesome- Scent: Scents are great at bringing back memories. Is there a scent that any time you smell it you flash back to something in your past?
I think maybe when I make sourdough bread every week it reminds me of when the kids were home; lots of scents at Christmas bring up memories too.

I have taken so many pictures in the last few weeks………we have had a lot of events that seem picture worthy!
First a weekend in Dallas for a wedding, then the kids coming to visit and some of the babies with them, and lots of family over to visit. There are so many good ones and I would love to post them all but it is far too many for that; plus I still have my last Disneyworld post saved but not published that I need to finish up and put on here also!
So, I’ll start with a goofy one, of me and my sis, Stacy………….she said she liked it so I’m sure it’s ok to put on here!

I finished reading my book last night, Reunion; it was the last in a series of books I had been reading. The whole set was the Redemption series, by Karen Kingsbury and Gary Smalley. These have been some of my favorite books so far that I’ve read. I really enjoyed the family that it followed and their lives and stories and she wrote at the end that she would do eight more books set in the same location in Indiana but they would involve some different characters. The Baxter family in this series is featured in the upcoming books some but it will deal mostly with new ones that she brought into the story in this last book. The second or third book took some turns in it that I had not been really seen coming and those might have been my favorite out of the series. These books are probably some of the ones I’ve read that I’ve enjoyed the most; right up there with the Zion series of books.
So, 10 books for me so far this year.

Go away! Come again another day………..maybe, but not too soon!
It has rained and rained this weekend and I am really tired of it; don’t like getting out in it and get tired of staying inside so much. It’s even harder to get walking in when it rains so much. I hope the rest of the week will be dry and nicer.
Most of our kids, and a lot of family members, visited this weekend and I think they all had the rain to deal with to drive back home in and it is harder to travel also when the roads are wet. I think they are all home safe and sound, so maybe now it will quit raining!

Stacy talked about her windchimes on her blog so I thought I should post a picture of mine as well. If I remember correctly, I think I got Stacy’s chimes for her for Christmas a few years ago and I liked hers so much that I thought I should get some too! So we went to Gardenworks by Stacy’s house a few months after Christmas and I bought some for myself. I love them too, love to hear them clinging around; Don doesn’t like them though. He thinks they are too noisy………but they make me happy! I especially enjoy hearing them when I’m at home during the day and it is quiet inside and I can hear them tinkling in the wind. Stacy is right, this month they have really been going to town and are making lots of noise and loud music!

We were gone all weekend and when we got home last night, Don turned on the air conditioning to the upstairs rooms! Come on, it’s only March, do we really need to have it running now? It is hot upstairs but I thought maybe we could go without it for a while longer because we will probably have to run it until at least October here in the south! We could open windows and turn on the fans maybe, if he’ll agree to it.
