We had a little bit of a low key day for Easter, which was probably good since the sickness has been abundant at our house lately. Daughter Elizabeth had her spring break last week, spent some time in Jackson and then got here on Thursday. She studied some, slept some and then helped me go through a few things from her closet… we ended up tossing a big garbage bag full of torn up kids books. She got the rest of them put back on the shelf neatly and we did the same thing in the boys closet. Chris came up to see her on Saturday and he spent the rest of the weekend with us. Son David decided late Saturday night that he would come for the day on Sunday. We couldn’t get my dad to come, not sure why he wouldn’t. Don thought he felt good enough to play golf; I said maybe 9 holes would be enough so he played 18 and then decided he should have quit at 9! No one wanted to dye eggs, no cute Easter baskets to take pictures of. So we snapped just a few shots before the boys left last night, but………..

David likes to be different for his pictures! He doesn’t want to do normal ones, whatever that is! He must have had 17 pairs of sunglasses in his truck and wanted everyone to wear to put a pair on! Liz & David have no problem hamming it up:

Nothing says Easter like shades….. this is my “gang”! (left to right: liz, chris, david, gail, don….. I see we forgot to get shades for chris!))

And THIS one is my personal favorite!

Because Don can be just as fun as the kids!
Liz will be here for a little while longer so I’m going to visit with her before she goes back to school; hope to visit you later on.
We had a good weekend…… hope you did too!
