It’s time once again for Katrina’s Spring Reading Challenge. I always enjoy participating in this one and can usually find so many ideas from other people for new books to read! Last year I kept seeing Wish You Well by David Baldacci on lists so I decided to read that one; it ended up being one of my favorite books I read last fall! Click on over to her place to read the guidelines and hopefully you’ll join in too. It’s fun and you’ll have a chance for a drawing at the end. This will run from now until June 19th.. Here are my books for this challenge:

Summer of the Midnight Sun
Under the Northern Lights
Whispers of Winter
all by Tracie Peterson & part of the Yukon Quest series
The Secret Life of Becky Miller by Sharon Hinck
Hidden History and
Ready to Wed both by Melody Carlson
With This Ring I’m Confused by Kristin Billerbeck
The Best Life Diet by Bob Greene

I tend to read fiction all the time and have to make myself read something else. I included one non-fiction and hope it will help me finish this book I’ve started several times before. If I do really good I’ll have to add another one later on that’s in a stack by my bed!
Happy reading, and I hope to visit lots of you to see what’s on your lists!

Those look like great choices. I did this last spring but this spring I am not sure I can manage a list. I am doing so much more sewing than reading these days. Maybe some books about sewing 🙂

  2. Debi Says:

Oh, it’s such fun to see a big ol’ pile of books! Good thing you joined this one again, or I would have had to pester you incessantly about it. As I’ve told you before, I hold you entirely responsible for my reading challenge addiction 😉 It was through you that I first heard of this challenge last year…and just look where that led!

Enjoy your reading! I have no doubt you’ll finish those, and probably more as well!

  3. Lindsay Says:

Good luck on your list. I have read the Kristen Billerbeck one – it’s the third of a series – did you know that? It’s a fun series – my daughter and I loved it!
I’m not signing up this year. Like Becky, I am sewing more than I am reading these days. I wish there were more hours in the day, or better yet, I wish I was retired – so I could do more of these fun things! I look forward to reading your reviews.

i have hidden history on my list too. i’m trying to get all the Grace Chapel Hill books from my library through interlibrary loan (there are like 30 of them!) love the other books on your list. Tracie Peterson is always excellent and the Sharon Hinck and Kristin Billerbeck books are some of my favorites.

  8. Deena @ My Bookshelf Says:

  9. Stacy Says:

Good set of books! I know you’ll like the Peterson ones. I enjoyed both of those Alaskan trilogies. Let me know how the Becky Miller book is, and I might want to peruse your Bob Greene one sometime after you finish. And the Billerbeck is the last of that set, have you already read the first two? Don’t read them out of order!!! I haven’t started on the Spa Girls series yet, but after I finish them, you’ll have to read those too 🙂

    Happy Reading!
