Mar

Usually about a week into March I remember what I don’t just love about this month……the wind! I used to always hear this saying about March; in like a lion, out like a lamb. It’s been no different this year than any other and the past couple of days it’s been just INCREDIBLY windy here. I don’t even know why I go to the trouble to comb my hair! This is when having it long enough for a ponytail would come in handy.
Hubby is starting to be better, thanks for all your kind words. I took him back to the doc on Monday for another xray. The xray looked better but the pneumonia wasn’t gone so he got a 3rd shot and more medicine! He was told he might could ride in his truck to work in a few days so he promptly left the next morning; what do you do with boys! He is sounding lots better though and is mostly just sitting in the office I think. His appetite is much improved and usually that’s a really good sign that he’s lots better.
If it’s not windy where you are, I’m coming to see you! I guess in another week it won’t be so bad. 🙂

So glad your hubby is better. Everyone around here has that “wind blown” look happening! Guess it would be the perfect day to go fly a kite 🙂 Well with this wind it just may carry us away…hehe So it’s windy in March, then April showers…but we’re getting the wind and rain at the same time 🙂

Glad for the good report on your husband. I have been on antibiotics for 3 weeks because of my pesky tooth, and I think that is what has been keeping me well because I have been surrounded by every germ known to man at work (and at home) and I have caught nothing…nada!

As far as the wind, not so much here right now. Until, that is, a new front moves in off the coast. Pony tails rock!

Very windy here too. Bad hair day 🙂 Glad that Don is starting to feel better; don’t let him overdo it. I’m glad his appetite is coming back, that should help with taking all of the meds and not being dehydrated.

    🙂

    Glad he’s feeling better!

Terribly windy here. In fact, we are under high wind warnings all night long. I saw the weather on tv and they said 25 states are affected by this front.

  6. Dawn Says:

Glad he’s feeling better. It’s been in the 80s here & let me tell you, that breeze has been more than welcome!

  7. Debi Says:

Glad to hear Don’s feeling better! I just hope he doesn’t blow all the progress he’s made by heading back to work so quickly!

I agree with you about the wind. It’s my least favorite kind of weather. It’s been windy here today, I just hope it doesn’t mean a cold front is moving in for the weekend.

Have a wonderful Easter, Gail:) Glad to hear that Don is feeling better.

Glad your hubby is feeling better. It’s windy here, too – ick!

We are having a lot of wind here too. If you can avoid it the temps are nice. The wind is quite cool though!

Glad you’re hubby is better. One thing the doctor may not have told you…a lot of times, the chest x-ray will still not look “normal” for a few weeks after the pneumonia is actually gone/killed. Anyway, that’s just an interesting bit…glad he’s able to get back to work.

Wasnt that wind amazing?! I couldn’t believe how strong it was on Tuesday. I was sitting in my car at FBCJ for a Bible study and felt the car moving from the wind!

I borrowed the Secret Life of Becky Miller from Katrina last spring and totally enjoyed it. I hope your husband continues to improve.

I’m behind, too, and didn’t know Don was sick. I’m glad he went to the dr, tho’. Most guys don’t. Now I know why you told him to only play 9 holes of golf in the next post, and he was tired after 18! If they’d just listen…
I am glad I’ve left my hair long enough for a pony tail, ’cause I’ve taken advantage of it with the wind here. The only thing is, my ears are cold! ;0) Can’t win ’em all!
