oh what a beautiful day

I hope your day was as pretty as ours was here in the south….really nice out today! I walked this morning so that almost always makes my day better even though I still don’t love it. We spent several hours at the clinic again today for hubby to get another xray; he’s a little better the doc said but the pneumonia is not gone yet. He got yet another shot along with more medicine and said he might could go to work in a few days. I had to practically tie him down this morning to keep him from going to work!
And what makes a pretty day even better…..mail, that includes chocolate! A week or so ago Stacy (the other one) was having truffles week at her blog, giving away chocolate and a book! And I was one of the lucky recipients……….I just had to test these out too! Because if it’s chocolate and in my house it’s imperative that I try it. I thought you’d want to know that they taste good. 😆

Hope your week has gotten off to a good start. We’re watching a lot of tv and movies around here and that’s quite unusual for us but Don hasn’t felt like doing much else besides sleeping. In a few days I’ll probably be ready for him to go to work for a bit, especially if he gets cabin fever even more!

Hope Don feels better soon. I’m sure it must be hard for him to not do anything. Dom USED to be like that. Now he’s gotten very content being at home and not working much. Some days I wish he’d go back to work full time!

Bummer that the pneumonia is still in his lungs. I had hoped the medicine would have knocked most of it out by now. Glad he’s getting some rest, but I know he’ll want to get out and work soon. He’s just like someone else I know 🙂

Yummy on the chocolate, eat a piece for me!

Speaking from experience, it takes a while to get rid of pmeumonia. He should not overdo or try to rush it. Relapse is even worse. I still have to be very careful when I get a cold now because if it settles in my chest, it’s a short trip back to pneumonia.

I’m glad Don’s showing some improvement — hope it continues! I’m about ready to go to the doctor for an X-Ray myself — this cough is getting worse. :-/

Glad to hear that Don is improving. I’m sure the chocolate will speed it up even more. Isn’t chocolate the cure for everything? It’s always the first thing I try! Enjoy the quiet time.
