let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

Not a big deal for most of you but in the South snow is almost always a big event for us, and in March even! We got snow on Friday afternoon into the evening, maybe an inch or 2 in all. I didn’t think it would stick when it first started coming down but after an hour or so I realized that we would have it for at least last night. It wasn’t quite enough to play in but it was enough for me to take pictures.

The streets and sidewalks didn’t have any, so nothing there to have to clean off. It’s melting off fairly quickly today; the sun came up and the temp is now above freezing so it won’t take long. Kinda fun while it lasted!

Is that your house? It’s beautiful! The snow looks so pretty – but I’m so tired of winter.

Nothing on the streets and sidewalks — that’s the best kind of snow. You house is very pretty!

Beautiful! That’s what sent us home early on Thursday. We had roadway issues on Thursday because we got a lot of rain and sleet ahead of it, but it was so pretty to look at!

So pretty! We didn’t get that much and it melted really fast. I didn’t even get a single picture 🙂

Snow is so pretty! I love it when it just looks pretty and then doesn’t cause traffic problems. We have been getting little dustings here and there. I like Winter.
    The pictures are pretty.

So pretty! We didn’t get much around here…just some on the cars. My parents, however, had about 3-4 inches. I think it lasted through to last night…maybe even some left this morning. In March! AMazing.

I’m so ready for spring and summer. It has been a long and cold winter for us. But I must admit, there is something absolutely beautiful about freshly fallen snow.
