I was so glad to have a plan in place last week, and everything went pretty much accordingly. This time I’m feeling very uninspired and not wanting to cook much! I seem to swing from one end of the pendulum to the other. 😆 Here’s some things I’m thinking about having this week, but not sure what days I’ll do any of it!

Sausage quiche, salad….I’ll probably use turkey sausage that I have in my freezer
Baked salmon, sweet potatoes, peas
Lentil soup, bread……thanks Susanne!
Burgers and maybe sweet potato fries…….for us it’ll probably be turkey burgers
Church supper….this will be Wednesday and my class has to serve so I’ll be there for it

weekend………I have no idea yet!

Visit Laura for the whole list of menus.
Have a great Monday!

You have a lot of sweet potatoes on your menu. Did you grow some in your garden? They sound yummy!

Sweet potato fries? I usually make matt a sweet potato when we have baked potatoes but I’ve never tried one myself! Love quiche!!!

I’m with you and the pendulum. My menu planning is pretty much hit or miss these days, although I’ve been hitting a little better wtih the crockpot!

Sweet potato fries . . . mmm, one of my favorites!

I think more weeks I feel uninspired to plan menus and execute them, than I do feel inspired to do so. So, I totally get the pendulum thing. Mine just seems to swing more toward the negative than the positive 🙂

Sounds like a good week! I definitely want to hear about that veggie quiche if you make it. What you used and how you guys liked it. That sounds/looks really good to me.

I need to get back to buying sweet potatoes. I’ve been buying russets and red potatoes lately. I do have sweet potato fries in the freezer, maybe I’ll do those this week instead of regular oven fries. 🙂

You can come eat with us next Sunday, come on down!

Yum. Sweet potato fries. By the way, I see Vanishing Acts in your list of books to read. Let me know how you like it. I read it last year.

Well, it’s good to know that even if I decide to start doing menu plans, I don’t HAVE to stick with them every week!

Gail, I just wanted to thank you for the New Year’s card I got in the mail today …the pictures are wonderful of your beautiful family!

Gail, the quiche and soup sound wonderful. I’m not much in the cooking mood this week, I’m afraid. We are having pork chops tonight though. About WW–the cost is $65 for the first three months, and then 18-20 dollars a month after that–I can’t remember. I’ve really enjoyed it–well, as much as you can enjoy something that limits what you are putting in your mouth!!!

I have been having a couple of down weeks as far as cooking inspiration goes myself. I want the yummy meals but I really don’t want to *cook* them. =P

So how did the lentil soup turn out? Did you like it?
