I was out of town for about two and a half weeks, visiting my daughter and even though I got home last week, I just can’t seem to get caught up on things. Several blog friends awarded something on their blogs and I’m very late in acknowledging those. Both Lynne and Stacy (the other one as she calls herself!) gave me this sweet treat award.
Thanks girlies, y’all are sweet to think of me! I enjoy all y’all’s blogs out there and think all of you are sweet to read too.
I got to meet Jenny this summer and we enjoyed our visit so much……tried to stop in her town on my way to North Carolina but she was on vacation, lucky duck! She gave me this:

I so enjoy this blog community and all of you are so welcoming and encouraging, I really enjoy the friendship we share this way.
I know I’m still late and behind in my blog reading and commenting; I’m still working on it and haven’t forgotten about you. Hopefully I’ll have some time this afternoon to read again, but every time I think I’m almost caught up I’ll look in my google reader and y’all will have like 68 new posts!
I’m also going to be really late for a lunch date with some family if I don’t get myself in gear and get going!

I watched my friends little boy who is 6 months younger than Miller so they had fun together and I’m cooking some apples for dinner tonight. Miller is watching Winnie the Poohs Halloween and thinking I need to change the light bulbs in all our lights outside for the trick or treaters tomorrow night……trying to get ready I guess…..I have alot of family coming tomorrow night so I’m staying on top of the house too. You so deserve those awards you have always been so kind to me and I appreciate you for that.

Never fear, I’m not caught up either, and I haven’t been gone two days, much less two weeks. When I opened my Google Reader this morning, it said 172 new posts. So, see, it could be worse!

My day is full of picking up kids and then dropping them off at school and practice etc. fun fun!
