We finally made it home late Saturday evening and I slept really good in MY bed! Sunday is just always busy around here so I’m needing to regroup today and get some things done. I’m heading to the store in a few minutes for much needed groceries and hope I can get home before it rains….I’m not fond of lugging groceries bags around in a downpour. I’ve also typed a birth announcement for the paper to drop off. Hubby unloaded the rest of the car last night but it’s all dumped in the middle of the breakfast room floor waiting to be put up, along with plenty of laundry I’m sure! I walked this morning to get that in before the rain and I can tell that I’ve been sporadic with it the last 2 1/2 weeks, I felt slow & sluggish. I’m also slowing getting around to catching up on blog reading too. (I might try to post a few more baby pics too!)
Mondays aren’t always my favorite day but I hope to get most of this done today and feel much better about it all tomorrow! How’s your Monday going and what are you up to today?

Yeah for getting back to your walking, good for you! I felt sluggish this morning too, and that’s just from skipping 2-3 days. I thought you walked a bunch in NC with Katelyn?

Mondays are my big cleaning day, so I’m mostly cleaning today. Waiting on the rain, it’s only sprinkled so far here. Hopefully lots more rain later!

Have a good day, buy something good at the grocery 🙂

Our power washer guy was here today, which means I need to wash windows now.

My husband and I did the CROP Walk in our town yesterday, and 1 1/2 miles away from our ending destination the heavens opened up and drenched us but good. We walked that final leg in a torrential downpour, with cars on the street flying by and drenching us even more from the puddles that quickly formed.

All I would have needed was about 3 or 4 shopping bags of groceries to make that picture complete.

I hope you can get the job done before it rains.

And then stay in and stay dry and stay downloading those baby pics.

Glad you are home safe and sound. But I bet Kathryn and Katelyn miss you today.

    Hey Gail, welcome home!
Well… Monday here is cold and rainy. I am taking Izzy to Bear at noon and stopping off for chickfila on the way home. That plus lots of laundry and cooking dinner and running kids here and there will be my Monday.

I’m glad your home. It is cold and rainy here today the Pumpkin Patch got canceled and we had a scare with Miller and chicken pox…false alarm though thank God.
Laundry and cooking chili for me today and maybe a nap with Miller. Happy Monday.

Welcome home! I feel bad you have all the “stuff” to put away – that’s the worst part of any trip – unpacking! I hope it goes quickly for you.
I’m back to work today – Monday’s are not my favorite either – I’m always so tired from a busy weekend.

I like Mondays. I guess it’s because the kids are all out of the house after being around all weekend. It’s just nice to have the sudden silence and time for myself – even if I’m stripping beds, baking bread, doing laundry and cleaning all day. See ya.

Glad you made it home safe and sound. Just take it a chore at a time, you’ll eventually get it all done!
Enjoy the cool weather I sure am!

So glad you made it home, and post some pics asap!! 🙂 It has done some raining here today. We were woken up at 4 am by the LOUDEST thunderclap I’ve ever heard!

Hi Gail…I bet it’s good to be home!

I’m so behind in reading everyone’s posts, and don’t even have time today, except I’m taking a ten minute break at the moment.

Hope to see some pictures soon from your trip!

Hope you’re feeling a bit more “back to normal” today! Though I’m always happy to be home after being gone for a while, it’s soooo hard to get caught back up and have your routine running smoothly again.
