My daughter’s due date is this weekend. She went Tuesday afternoon for her appointment and asked her doc if she’d strip her membranes for her. The doc said sure! And was K ready to go into labor that night….Kathryn told her no! Jeremy’s grandmother was coming in Tuesday night, he was picking her up so Kathryn didn’t want him to be gone and her go into labor. I had to laugh because I would have thought if you’re ready to spur the labor on you’d be ready to go into labor. She told the doc she was thinking more like she’d like to have it Friday because it would be convenient for family to come. (silly girl) So they made her an appointment to come in this afternoon to get the procedure done and she thinks she might go on into labor after that and hopefully have the baby Friday. She’s about 3 cm dilated she told me. His parents are coming on Friday I think…..guess I’ll go on up too! Worked on my to do list yesterday:

Got gas in my suburban, washed 4 loads of clothes, straightened the house and vacuumed downstairs, ran the dishwasher and did a few errands. I still need to get a big letter “S” monogrammed on a piece of blue fabric today, go to the bank, and library to find some books on tape. Then I need to load my car. All of that will have to be after I walk though. 🙂 Maybe we can get this show on the road.

“I’m coming up so you better get this party started”
Do you hip chickiees know that song! (you might can get pretend points if you do, how fun is that!)
