I got tagged by Sherry about a week ago for this meme of four. Was just a little busy having company, so I’m now trying to get caught up with things and blog a bit more. I’ve seen this one passing around and mine won’t be that interesting because I’ve not lived many places or really done many things! But here ya go, the meme of four.

Four jobs I’ve held:
1. Kindergarten teacher
2. Clerk in a fabric store, Hancock fabrics
3. Doing invoices at hubby’s office as needed, haven’t had to do that this summer and I’m glad because it’s not my thing!
4. Mom to four, because it’s what I’ve done for most of my life!

Four Movies I can watch over and over again (I don’t tend to watch movies over and over again but will pick some favorites)
1. The Sound of Music
2. Lord of the Rings, trilogy
3. You’ve Got Mail
4. O Brother Where Art Thou

Four Places I have lived:
1. Mississippi
2. Mississippi
3. Mississippi
4. And if this counts, we lived for a summer in Ft. Collins, Colorado…..other than that, MS!

Four T.V. Shows I Watch:
1. Lost
2. The Amazing Race
3. Survivor
4. Dancing with the Stars
24

Four Places I’ve been on Vacation:
1. New York City
2. Yellowstone National Park
3. Washington D.C.
4. Cancun
Kiahwah Island, Yosemite, Germany……I could go on with way more than 4 here!

Four Fave Foods:
1. Shrimp
2. strawberries
3. key lime pie
4. chocolate

Four websites I visit:
1. Bloglines
2. Yahoo
3. Amazon
4. Google

I’m gonna be all rebel like and not tag anyone because I’m not sure who’s done this one. But if you play along please let me know so I can come read it!

Hey, Gail! We lived for a summer in Fort Collins, CO too. From May through August I think. It was the summer of 1982. Back in the dark ages. Isn’t that something??

  2. Becky Says:

Oh, and I was looking at your book list to the right. Save Shepherd’s Abiding for the Christmas season. It is the most delightful book to get you in the RIGHT spirit of Christmas. I have read it every year between Thanksgiving and Christmas for several years. I just love it. It is such a spiritual story to me. Those shepherds, oh, I can’t give it away. Just trust me.

  3. Stacy (the other one) Says:

I’ve never seen O Brother Where Art Thou. I need to go add that to my Blockbuster list…

This was fun to read, still haven’t watched O Brother Where Art Thou….will have to look into it.

    Have a great weekend 🙂

LOL at all of your Mississippi’s! I’ve lived more places than I’d like to count … thanks to the military, LOL. Mississippi is a nice place. My brother lived in Gulfport but lost everything due to Katrina and is now in Memphis … anyway, I visited him a few months before the hurricane and loved Mississippi.

  6. Debi Says:

Oh, this was such a fun one! I might have to play later. I worked in a fabric store, too!

I believe that kindergarten teachers are saints (moms of four, too for that matter!)…It was fun to learn more interesting tidbits about you from this meme!

  8. Coach J Says:

I’d be just like you with the four Mississippi’s–and I couldn’t even say I’ve lived anywhere else for a summer! Sigh….

  9. sherry Says:

Thanks! I love “The Sound of Music”! I watch that one a lot too!

I love shrimp too. Oh yum-o! But of course, I bugged you for that shrimp recipe for so long! I need to make that again! It was delicious! Maybe this time I can save enough for left overs? ha ha

Okay you had me except for your movie choice – O Brother Where Art Thou?! Mike loves that movie, we own it and I hate it!!

Fun post, I am still catching up on my reading since vacation. Pathetic huh?
