I’ve been using my good silver Fossil watch for when I walk or exercise. Over the last year or so I would sporadically get a rash on my left arm right about where my watch was. I finally had Don look at it and we decided that the finish on the back side of the band had sort of peeled off, worn off in spots and that was probably what was causing my rash. I have looked and looked for a new band but nothing fits it and none of the stores that carry Fossil watches sell just the bands. No luck online yet either. So I haven’t worn that watch in a while but have been using another sort of dressy one and I thought it was time to buy something that I could use for exercising instead of wearing a good one! So while I was out shopping with Stacy yesterday I bought a sports Timex watch, digital like my kids would wear a lot. It’s also like Stacy’s and you know, I have to be just like her when I grow up! That’s what she keeps telling me anyway. 😆 I realized that I don’t think I’ve ever had a digital watch before so this might take some getting used to. But it didn’t cost much at all and I hope it saves my good watch from so much wear and tear.

Got a date with hubby to go to a wedding later today! Have a great day.

Yep, now we can be the Bobbsey twins 🙂 I KNOW you want to be like me when you grow up, you know it, everyone knows it. LOL 🙂

Cute watch and other than it’s bulkier than what I’m used to wearing, I like mine a lot. And for the price, you can’t beat it!

Are you wearing that watch to the wedding? Heehee. That is a really cute watch though. I’ve never had a digital watch either. So weird…same thing started happening to me with my watch. I eventually coated the back with clear nail polish, and it really helped. But then for some reason, I quit wearing my watch altogether.

I need a new watch, too. I have one silver and one gold tone and I switch them according to what I’m wearing each day 🙂

I like the Timex but I’m like you..I’ve never worn a digital watch before. My eyesight is going downhill so I might be able to see it better lol 🙂

    Have fun at the wedding!

I haven’t worn a watch since I got my cell phone. Don’t know why–it would be handier to have one on! The nail polish fix was interesting–wonder if that would work for you.??

I feel lost without my watch (which I just noticed I don’t have on right now!). Mine’s a cheap Timex, gold, with a stretchy band. But the best feature is the little button on the side that makes it light up at night. This is my only watch – I wear it with everything.

Both hubby and I haven’t worn a watch at all in years! He keeps track of time on his cell phone…and sometimes I am really missing my watch! I think I’ll be putting the battery in my old one soon…and probably wonder how in the world I survived all this time without it!

Cute watch. I can’t stand to wear one at all…

I used to have a digital timex that I always wore to work when I was still working in a hospital. I loved that thing! It’s still around here somewhere; I should dig it out and use it for walking.

I see you’ve got a “Miss Julia” book up next. I am loving that series.

I can’t believe it’s your first digital watch! I had one 20 years ago!

Like the watch! I’ve never had a digital one either. (Even though it probably would be faster to read.) I do have separate watches for different activities, too. One for active times, one for dressy occasions.
