I’ve taken quite a few pictures this past week, maybe a few more than normal. So I’m using some of them today since I’ve racked my brain and am coming up dry on something to write!
We went to Jackson last weekend to go out to eat; Don took me out and son D joined us along with Stacy & Tim. We went to a small Italian place that I’ve never been to before but Stacy had eaten there and she was right, it was really good!

She & I had the seafood lasagna, it was SO yummy but I’m sure so not good for me.

You have to know him, hubby does stuff like this but none of us really know why! (in case you’re wondering, look closely at his pocket & you still might not can see it but he took his silverware and put it there!) Stacy do you remember why he was doing this?

I tossed all my work/housework on Thursday and went back to see Stacy & Tim again……..they are probably tired of running a bed & breakfast for me by now. She & I ate lunch at Jason’s Deli on Thursday but we were pretty good this time and had salads with no dressing, yay for us!

Of course they are always better with the muffins, but these were all we had for 2 of us

We went to Target, TJ Maxx, Marshall’s, Barnes & Noble and then Walmart on Friday, twice!
I bought books, like I really needed any more! But I think I’ll like the Beth Moore devotional one. The other 2 were in the Christian section at Walmart and Stacy might want to read them then I might can pass them around or if they’re good, see if my church library wants them; I can always rationalize buying them that way!

We had to look at recipes/books also and really, doesn’t everyone take pictures of recipes that they find?

I think we did that so Stacy could look it up in her book and see if she had it to send to me, so if you do Stacy, email it to me!
Gotta run get ready for our party tonight. A big, huge storm is coming so it won’t be pleasant lugging all my food over to my friend’s house. Hopefully I’ll remember pictures of the table and all, I went over to look at final touches today and it looks all “purty”!
Have a good weekend.

Yeah, pictures! And even better, pictures of food 🙂 The lasagna was good and so were the salads, not to mention the Mexican. Goodness, we eat out a lot, don’t we?! We’re really glad you guys got to come and then you got to come back. Come back any time, we LOVE having you guys here! And on the silverware, I think that he put them in his pocket because he thought the table was dirty or maybe there was no spare napkin on the table to put them on, something like that?! 🙂

I definitely want to borrow those books after you’ve read them, if they are good. Then, I think that would be really sweet of you to donate them or “pass them along”, very sweet 🙂

I’m sure the party will go well, but a bummer on the storm. It hasn’t hit here yet, but I’m sure we won’t be far behind you guys. Hope your pictures turn out good, can’t wait to see how “purty” it all is!

P.S. I remembered earlier today what the recipe was and why we took the picture, but I haven’t had a chance to look in my cookbook. OK, I just skimmed through it and I am not finding that one, so maybe it’s new. Can you see it well enough from the pictures to make out all the ingredients and directions? If not, I’ll look next time I go, if I can remember which cooking magazine we found that one in! In my cookbook, I see a regular stuffed green pepper recipe and one for couscous stuffed peppers, but not a veggie stuffed one. I found a lot of other good sounding recipes though, so we need to go through this one more 🙂

:v) My hubby puts his silverware in his pocket if it’s a buffet so he doesn’t have to carry them.

Great pics. That Beth Moore devotional sounds really good. I read about it somewhere else on a blog too, and they had nothing but good to say about it.
