This recipe is good for a family or a potluck dinner…..I don’t make it as much now for just 2 people because we’d be eating it most of the week.

Crockpot Hamburger Casserole

2 large potatoes sliced
2-3 medium carrots sliced
1 can peas
3 medium onions sliced
2 stalks celery sliced
1 1/2 lbs. lean ground meat browned
1 can tomato soup
1 can water

Place layers of the vegetables in the order given in crockpot, seasoning each layer with salt & pepper. Put the lightly browned meat on top of celery. Mix soup with the water and pour into crockpot. Cover and set on low for 6-8 hours (high 2-4 hrs)

Hmm, I don’t think I’ve ever had this, have I?! What kind of peas? You know how we are about peas, hehehe! 🙂 But the tomato soup sounds good, as opposed to tomatoes. That’s how I make my vegetable soup, with tomato sauce or soup and not diced or stewed tomatoes.

I am so messed up on my week. Had no idea it was Thursday. I missed this cooking meme and also the Thursday Thirteen one. My days are all discombobulated! 🙂

I make one similar to this and it’s yummy. At least, hubby and I think so. Daughter (18) doesn’t like the peas.
