“Now I know, I know that it’s true, don’t say that this is the end”……….but it is the end; we found that out a few days ago! And I’m not being a happy camper about it! It’s been going on for 3 years now and I took it for granted and thought it would last a really long time. Now it’s over and I have no idea what we will do……………
I’m talking about my yard y’all! We started using someone about 3 years ago to mow our lawn and it has been the greatest thing. I’m so not a yard person and hubby is usually too busy with work during the summer to take care of it. We used the kids when they were young but Don would have to work on the mower almost once a week and the kids fought about how much they had to do, etc. So I have loved having someone else come in and do it……he had a big, nice John Deere mower and all the tools needed. It never took them very long to do it, it was nicely edged and cleaned up too. I thought he did the best job!
The day of the week that my yard got done was like one of the best days of the week for me! Sad, I know, but I was just so happy that I didn’t have to do it! But now, he has taken another job and won’t be doing lawn service anymore! 😥 I had no idea we might have to do something else! Now it’s been a bit long since it’s been mowed and I’m still not sure what we are going to do. At least we made it through most of the season having it done but I wasn’t ready for this at all!

If your father lived near by he would like riding the mower. !!
If you pay me over $100k a year, I will move there and do it for you !!! Ha.

I’d offer to send my hubby up there to help you out but I have a hard enough time to get him to keep our yard up 🙁 If only motorcycles could cut the grass we’d have the perfect lawn…..

Oh no, he’s gone? I know how much you both love having him come do the yard work. Who’s cutting it now? Ours needs cutting bad, it didn’t get done before we left on vacation. You’ll definitely have to find someone before next summer. Can probably handle it now for a while, but next year, you need to find a replacement!!! 🙂
