On a bright cloud of music shall we fly?
(Ok, well I’ll keep trying with the lyrics and see if anybody will play along!)
Not ready for the flying part yet but we went to our first lesson this week………lesson in what you ask? Hubby wanted to take ballroom dancing and signed us up! He said he told me but I don’t seem to remember it! After I found out we were signed up, he asked me several times to please go, so I agreed to it. I’m not opposed to learning but I wasn’t excited to be in a class with so many people I know! We learned some basic steps to the foxtrot. Just about everyone there was a beginner so that helped a good bit. It’s not as easy as it looks, or it wasn’t for me. Mostly they will teach us some basic things so that we can dance at a party or wedding. But, I feel very kluzty now!
I guess it’s good to keep learning new things though 🙂

I would LOVE to take ballroom dancing lessons! So much fun. BTW, I’d join the lyrics, but I only know the melody and the line that you actually post to these songs!

I’d LOVE to do this too, but my better half wouldn’t agree or condescend, much less suggest it, in a million years. I’ve tried to sway him with “Dancing with the Stars” and Jerry Rice and Emmitt Smith, but still, he thinks it’s definitely not for him. Lucky girl!

Let me assure you that NO one in the class looks like Dancing with the Stars! Well, maybe someone will before we’re through but not now.

Love that song…and all the Rogers and Hammerstein musicals! (I even have an old movie blog!)
Anyway, that is great that you are taking Ballroom dancing!
I took it twice with my hubby before we had kids, and it was pretty fun! I think everyone’s concentrating on themselves, so don’t worry about anyone else! Hope you have fun! 🙂
