Hopefully this will be the last part! After all the hiking, swimming and horseback riding, it was decided we’d go whitewater rafting one day, on Thursday. I sort of wanted to go since everyone else was going but the ranch tried & tried to find another babysitter but no one was available so I stayed with Katelyn that day. Don and the kids went and were gone for most of an afternoon on this adventure. Kathryn, Don and the guide all got thrown from the raft into the cold water. That’s why you don’t take cameras on rafting trips I think! However they bought the photo that was taken of them, so click below for it and other pics.
Rafting adventure
Kathryn & Jeremy left Friday morning going home. Liz & I went with Don & David while they played golf….we drove the carts!
Three of us hiked after lunch, a 2 mile hike…..David stayed back at the cabin. Every day that we were there we could see deer roaming through the ranch, by your cabins and all around the place. It was mostly early morning and late evening. Always fun to see.
We joked all week about the car we had rented, a Jeep Cherokee…….called it Liz’s car & kept telling her we liked her car! She has wanted a Trailblazer or Envoy for the past several years, black of course. But when she saw this car, she really liked it & liked the way it drove. And bigger shock, she liked the color; it was dark but not black, kind of a dark green, maybe gray color. So this is “her” car……we even told her they would probably sell her that car!
I think I have covered the majority of what we did……any kids that read these 3 parts, feel free to jump in & comment to add to this. I think I do have some more pics I want to put up in another post, and even do one post of stuff that David took! So there will be a little more coming.

Yeah, more vacation! Love all the pictures, what a great one of the white rafting trip. Tim will be majorly jealous of the golf ones 🙂

I am so jealous! I love Colorado. Patt has never been and has never even seen mountains so I can’t wait to take him there. Did I mention I’m jealous!!!
