exciting Friday night at home! One of our daughters and her boyfriend came for a brief visit this weekend, drove to see us after they got off work. We had supper and visited briefly; I had thought we might play a game or watch a movie but it seems that everyone else had another idea. I don’t know if it was my stimulating conversation, too much food, they were so excited to see me or what, but this is what happened as soon as we sat down in the den……..
Gone, out like lights! And this was probaby by 9 or 9:30 at night, with the tv blaring and all the lights on. I cleaned up the kitchen and read some, then finally got in bed to read and they were still sleeping. E crawled into my bed for a while after that, then finally moved to her bed. She got up early the next morning because she said the sun was too bright coming through her curtains. She started some laundry, then went back to sleep again! So did hubby, boyfriend slept til much later! So it was noon before any of them got going good.
Yep, an exciting Friday night!

Very typical. We get a lot of that here too 🙂 We have that couch that has sleeping powder on it. I probably have pictures of almost every family member and friend asleep on our couch at one time or another.
They were just tired from a long week, is all. Friday nights are always the worst after a tough week.
