I guess really it was Friday that was the busiest, or most hectic. D decided to go on the camp out that they took the church boys on and I decided to go to the women’s retreat! So we were both scrambling at the last minute to pack and we left about the same time Friday afternoon. He took a 4-wheeler and his golf clubs (used neither and I forgot to find out if the clubs were to use or if they were thinking about using them on the kids :lol:) My retreat was at a wildlife lodge, that is very popular with hunters, but since most of that is over for the year, the women had the whole place to ourselves!
It was a really nice place and the food was good; I think we all decided we liked it better than the other place that we have been going to and hope to go back again. There were hummingbirds everywhere outside around their deck area! They had tons of feeders and I don’t know if I’ve ever seen that many hummingbirds before. We had a program and some skits after supper, a pj party late that night, none of us slept much! After breakfast we broke up into groups and rotated around to 3 different short programs, had music also. There were a couple more short sessions after lunch and then we drove home. D and I were both exhausted when we got home Saturday (I don’t think he slept much either on the camp out!) And Sunday is always a busy day as well. We ate lunch at the KFC buffet after church, read a little and took short nap in the afternoon, then went to walk/run before night church. I had bought tickets for the children’s hamburger supper fundraiser but he didn’t want burgers again after having them this weekend so we exercised, did church and then he got fajitas! We had a proposal last night for renovating the sanctuary so we met for a little longer than usual at church. Need to catch up today!

Wow, you guys were busy! Sounds good though, like a nice retreat. Was it just women from your church or others also?
I’m surprised you guys ate at the KFC buffet! hahahaha Fajitas sound good, and I know they are good from Guadalajara, we’ve had them with you guys before.
How much renovation on the sanctuary? Hadn’t heard about that, is it major or minor?

P.S. I guess I need to get my hummingbird feeder out and clean it and get it outside. Do you have yours up?
