Book - High Tide by Jude Deveraux
Fiona Burkenhalter is a top notch New Yorker and creator of a famous doll named Kimberly for a toy company. Her boss suddenly sends her to Florida to meet with a prospective client and land a deal. Being the city girl, she is not happy about having to go on a fishing expedition with the client and guide Ace Montgomery. When the client is mysteriously murdered, she and Ace are forced to go on the run to save themselves and find out who set them up for murder. They don't get along and are attracted to each other at the same time and learn much about the other while on the lam.
I enjoyed this book and like a satisfying ending. There were plenty of twists and turns in the plot but somewhere around 3/4 of the way into the book, it got a little confusing to me on what was going on and why; that could have been just me but at times it was hard to follow. It has humor, romance, and suspense in it and overall it's a pretty good book.
I think the epilogue helped tie everything up in the end.
