DVD - Dodgeball
Well, I almost didn't enter a review for this one. Tim was sick this past weekend and we watched a DVD out of our library (a good one, Last Samurai). He then saw a commercial on TV for the DVD "Cellular" and wanted me to go out in the 31ยบ weather and get him a movie and some medicine. So, off to Hollywood Video I go, where they are out of Cellular, so I call him and he said get "Dodgeball". With Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughan.
Dodgeball is not my kind of movie. It was not, on this weekend, Tim's movie either. He said the same thing. Told me to not bother with writing a review, it wasn't worth it. Waste of money, waste of time, not very funny. I think I'm rubbing off on him!
Please don't rent this movie. Save your money and rejoice that there is about an hour and a half of your life that you won't yearn to get back after it's finally over.

Zany and over the top, tongue-in-cheek, comedy about underdogs finding their niche through that classic sport! Negative points for crudeness, but some funny scenes. |
