DVD - Elf
We got a free rental of Elf this weekend and watched it. We had tried to rent it when it first came out from our local Hollywood Video (it was one of the "guaranteed - in stock DVD's") and they were out, so we got a raincheck for a free rental.
Tim and I liked it, but I think we were both a little glad we didn't pay money to rent it. I didn't like it all that much, I don't particularly like Will Ferrell and I thought the story was pretty cheesy and weak. It had some funny spots and the gross eating spot (where he pours a whole bottle of maple syrup on his spaghetti, GROSS), but otherwise I didn't think it was all that great.
Just my humble opinion, of course! I'm sure lots of you out there rented it and loved it, so be sure to add your comments below!

While not cinematic greatness - are you kidding me? He's perfect for that role and the girl's singing voice is amazing. Good lighthearted fun. |

I wouldn't want to see this one again. It was OK. Few funny parts and as Stacy said, some yucky gross.
I don't particularly like Will Farrell, but it was ok to see once.
