Book - Summer Island by Kristin Hannah
Nora Bridge took the only route she thought she could and left her husband & 2 daughters 10 years ago. Now she is a famous radio talk show host and gives advice about love & family matters. When a scandal breaks, she hits rock bottom and has an accident. She retreats to the family home to recuperate, in the San Juan Islands of Washington state & has to rely on the 2 people she betrayed the most, her daughters Ruby & Caroline. Ruby agrees to care for Nora while secretly writing a revealing article about her mother & learns some tough lessons about love & forgiveness.
This is another book that I picked up randomly off the library shelf to read after seeing the jacket cover. It deals with some sad issues and tough mother-daughter relationships but was on the whole a pretty good book.
