I had this movie on my rental list, in spite of the fact that it didn't do that great at the theater when it came out. But, I figured with Matthew McConaughey, it had to work really hard to be all that bad :)
I must say, I was expecting a comedy and this movie is really just a drama from start to finish, with a couple of comedic episodes thrown in for good measure. Having said that, I really did like it. It was a good movie, the characters were good and the actors were some of my favorites.
I rate it a 7 out of 10 stars. A good rental, not fantastic, but a good rental.
